Derek Forsyth has held an Insolvency Permit since 1990 and prior to joining Campbell Dallas worked with the Clydesdale Bank Asset Structuring Department, where he was responsible for controlling the bank’s exposure to a portfolio of higher risk customers over a wide range of industry sectors. Today Derek deals with all forms of restructuring, recovery and personal insolvency. He sits on R3’s Scottish Technical Insolvency Committee, and lectures on insolvency matters.
A keen golfer, skier, and cyclist, Derek is a man of many disguises. Not only does he coach his sons’ football team, the demands made of him by his boys’ social life often results in him being mistaken for a taxi driver.
